Faith and fear can exist in the same heart. Peter had enough faith to step out of the boat, yet fear still caused him to sink. The disciples believed Jesus could save them, yet they panicked while He slept through the storm. What did Jesus possess that they were still learning? This teaching explores the relationship between faith, hope, fear, sonship, and the love of God, tracing Peter’s journey from drawing a sword in human strength to becoming willing to suffer for Christ in surrendered love. Perhaps the deepest mark of spiritual maturity is not simply great faith, but love brought to maturity.

The Three Gates of His Presence explores the Tabernacle as a spiritual pathway from praise to worship to intimacy. The Gate reveals thanksgiving and surrender. The Door reveals communion, transformation, and Christ living in us. The Veil reveals abiding union with the Father. God is not looking for a momentary experience, but a life of ongoing transformation. The question is whether we are willing to continue past the gate, through the door, and beyond the veil.
